Episode 03: Marlys McGrew: Chief Legal Officer
Coming from a family with deep roots in the petroleum industry, Marlys McGrew joined ROC in 2021. She is a business and commercial litigation attorney with nearly two decades of private practice experience. Prior to joining ROC, she was an accomplished complex litigator. Outside of litigation, Marlys has represented companies and individuals in regulatory proceedings before numerous Nevada agencies such as NV OSHA and the NV Board of Medical Examiners.
Prior to joining ROC, Mrs McGrew managed the Las Vegas office for a large, highly regarded regional law firm. Within the community, she was a founding board member of the Las Vegas Defense Lawyers and served for several years as a member of the Advisory Counsel for SAFY of Nevada. She holds a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law; B.S. in Psychology from the University of Idaho and Admissions to the Nevada State Bar, U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada.
